Chris is the reason every project gets done right. With 18 years of hands-on field experience, he's the one who identified the single-pass forestry mulching process that became the foundation of Aspen's approach — eliminating the old multi-step clear, pile, haul, burn, and repair cycle with a method that's cleaner, faster, and far less disruptive to the soil.
As a General Foreman with a CDL and deep knowledge of heavy equipment and job-site logistics, Chris brings precision and reliability to every project. When you hire Aspen, you're working with someone who takes the land — and the responsibility — seriously.

Subsoil Mulching for Habitat & Wetland Restoration Preparation
Aspen Land Management LLC is preparing to launch subsoil mulching services in Spring 2027 for landowners, farms, conservation projects, habitat improvement plans, wetland restoration preparation, and eco-focused property clearing across Eastern Minnesota and Western Wisconsin.
Subsoil mulching is designed for projects needing more than surface clearing — without unnecessary ground disturbance. Planned use cases include habitat restoration preparation, wetland restoration planning, conservation-minded land improvement, and eco-focused property clearing. Some landowners may qualify for habitat, wetland, forestry, agricultural, or conservation cost-share programs. Aspen does not guarantee grant eligibility.

Choose forestry mulching if you need brush, buckthorn, honeysuckle, box elder saplings, cedar, small trees, or invasive growth mulched in place where site conditions allow. Choose brush clearing if the main problem is buckthorn, honeysuckle, vines, dense undergrowth, young box elder, cedar saplings, fence rows, trails, or property edges. Choose land clearing if you need a larger overgrown, wooded, or brushy area opened for access, acreage use, fencing, resale, site preparation, or property improvement. Choose overgrown lot cleanup if the property is neglected, inherited, vacant, hard to walk, hard to mow, or difficult to inspect. Since 2024, the project property has been the subject of habitat and wetland-management discussions with conservation professionals and organizations. Technical consultation, educational participation, or attendance does not constitute endorsement of Aspen Land Management LLC, its equipment, sponsors, services, or treatment methods.
Aspen may coordinate project planning with conservation professionals, agencies, and qualified third parties when appropriate to the property and scope.
